Getting Started

For general contractors, getting started on Jobs2bid is easy. First, Jobs2bid will create an account for the general contractor along with I.D.'s and passwords for each authorized user. Next, the general contractor provides Jobs2bid with a master list of subcontractors and suppliers that he intends to invite to bid on his projects, and Jobs2bid uploads the information for him. Jobs2bid will also help the general contractor to update the data in the master list. The first time a subcontractor or supplier is invited to bid on a job, they will be prompted by the system to update and verify all of the data in their company profile. Thereafter, general contractors can periodically remind subcontractors and suppliers to regularly update and verify their data on the system as part of any communication sent via the Invitation to Bid System.

Prior to the posting of the first project on the system, Jobs2bid will provide on-site training for all personnel designated by the general contractor. Upon completion of the training, the general contractor is ready to create his first project, post it in his Virtual Private Plan Room, and send out his invitations to bid. It's that simple.
